Built around your run sheet
Tell us when people need to be fed and for how long. We arrive early, get the oven to temperature before your first guest is free, and cook through the window you give us.
For business
An oven on site turns a catered lunch into the thing people talk about afterwards. We work to your run sheet and serve continuously.
Most corporate catering arrives in a foil tray and is eaten standing up next to it. A wood-fired oven does something different: it gives people a reason to leave their desks, stand together and wait thirty seconds for something that came out of a fire.
We set up out of the way, cook to your timings and serve in continuous rounds so nobody queues. Office car parks, loading docks, rooftops, warehouses, courtyards and community fields — the oven travels on its own trailer and works without a kitchen.
What you get
Tell us when people need to be fed and for how long. We arrive early, get the oven to temperature before your first guest is free, and cook through the window you give us.
Pizzas come out in rounds and get sliced onto boards. Three hundred people fed in waves beats three hundred people in one line, and it keeps the room moving.
The oven, the fuel, the benches and the boards all arrive with us. All the site needs is a flat area to park and work in.
Not a single sad option at the end of the table — vegetarian pizzas are cooked in the same rounds as everything else.
We leave the space as we found it. Nothing for your facilities team to arrange, clear or dispose of.
Before you book
Yes. A working oven is a good centrepiece for anything with guests walking through it — the fire draws people over, and the food arrives without a formal sit-down.
Yes. Joe will send a written quote first with the terms on it, so procurement gets something they can process rather than a number over the phone.
The oven itself burns wood and stays outside. We are used to cooking outside a roller door or on a loading dock and carrying boards in to a function room.
The end-of-year run books out early — if your function is in November or December, get in touch well before then. Outside that period, less notice is usually fine.
Where we travel
The oven travels on its own trailer, so it comes to you. These are the areas we cover most often — if your suburb is not listed, ask anyway.
We cover all Sydney Metro — and we have travelled further afield for the right event.
How it works
Send through your date, location and rough guest numbers using the booking form — it takes two minutes.
Every event is quoted individually, based on your guest numbers, menu and where you are.
Once you are happy with the quote we confirm the booking and the timings for the day.
We arrive, set up the oven and cook to order for as long as your event runs.
Testimonials
“I highly recommend Joe’s wood fired Pizzas. Joe will turn up and start churning out delicious, authentic Italian pizzas for as long as your party lasts. He is not afraid of a proper Latin party lasting well into the early hours, and quite possibly until daybreak. Joe has some serious party-time stamina and he comes prepared with generous supplies of lovingly home-made pizza dough. He will provide you with breakfast Nutella pizzas at 6am if you let him. Book him, pour him a couple of glasses of good Italian wine, and you will get the best, crunchiest, fluffiest pizza your guests have ever tasted.”

All Sydney Metro · Passione Italiana
Yes, along with North Sydney, Parramatta, Alexandria, Macquarie Park and the rest of Sydney Metro. The only real constraint is somewhere to park the oven and work safely beside it.
From a small team lunch up to large functions. We cook in continuous rounds rather than one drop, which is how a big crowd gets fed without a queue. Send your numbers through and Joe will tell you what is realistic.
Yes. Every event is quoted individually and in writing, with the terms stated, so it can go through an approval process before anything is confirmed.
No. The oven burns wood and travels with its own fuel. We only need a flat, safe spot to set up.
Yes — the oven takes time to come up to temperature, so we simply arrive earlier. Tell us your service time and we work back from it.
