Kids can make their own
Stretch the base, choose the toppings, watch it go in. Ninety seconds later it comes out with their name on it. It is the part they talk about afterwards.
Birthdays
The fire is half the entertainment. Kids choose their toppings, stretch their own base and watch it cook in ninety seconds.
Children are fascinated by an open fire and completely sold on being allowed near one. Joe lets them stretch a base, pick what goes on it and stand and watch it cook — which turns the catering into part of the party rather than an interruption to it.
It works just as well for the adults. Pizzas come out in rounds for as long as the party lasts, so parents get fed standing up with a drink in hand instead of eating cold party food after everyone has gone home.
What you get
Stretch the base, choose the toppings, watch it go in. Ninety seconds later it comes out with their name on it. It is the part they talk about afterwards.
Fussy eaters are not a problem when every pizza is built individually. Plain cheese for the four-year-old and something with chilli on it for their uncle come out of the same oven.
Nutella and strawberry pizzas, cut into fingers. They go out after the cake and disappear faster than it does.
We bring the oven, the fire, the dough and the toppings, and we take it all away again. Your kitchen stays clean and you get to be at your own party.
Backyards, driveways, courtyards, parks and community halls. The oven is on a trailer and does not need a kitchen, power or gas.
Before you book
Enough flat ground to park the trailer and stand beside it, roughly a car space with working room. If you can get a car in, the oven fits.
The fire is inside the oven and behind the trailer bench. Joe works with kids at these parties constantly and manages the space around the oven himself — they get to watch closely without getting close to the fire.
As long as the party needs. Tell us the start time and how long you want food coming out, and that goes into the quote.
Eighteenths, twenty-firsts, fortieths, sixtieths and up. Same oven, different crowd — and the late-night round of pizzas is usually what saves the evening.
Where we travel
The oven travels on its own trailer, so it comes to you. These are the areas we cover most often — if your suburb is not listed, ask anyway.
We cover all Sydney Metro — and we have travelled further afield for the right event.
How it works
Send through your date, location and rough guest numbers using the booking form — it takes two minutes.
Every event is quoted individually, based on your guest numbers, menu and where you are.
Once you are happy with the quote we confirm the booking and the timings for the day.
We arrive, set up the oven and cook to order for as long as your event runs.
Testimonials
“I highly recommend Joe’s wood fired Pizzas. Joe will turn up and start churning out delicious, authentic Italian pizzas for as long as your party lasts. He is not afraid of a proper Latin party lasting well into the early hours, and quite possibly until daybreak. Joe has some serious party-time stamina and he comes prepared with generous supplies of lovingly home-made pizza dough. He will provide you with breakfast Nutella pizzas at 6am if you let him. Book him, pour him a couple of glasses of good Italian wine, and you will get the best, crunchiest, fluffiest pizza your guests have ever tasted.”

Yes, and they are some of our favourite bookings. Children are welcome to stretch their own base and choose their toppings, and Joe manages the space around the oven so they can watch it cook safely.
Yes — Nutella pizzas with strawberries are on the menu, and they go out after the cake. They are usually the first thing to disappear.
Yes. The oven works just as well for an adult party as a children’s one, and a late round of pizzas well into the night is a good idea at both.
Yes, as long as there is a flat spot to park the trailer and permission to cook with wood on site. Check with the venue or council first and let us know what they say.
Weekends fill up first, especially in spring and summer. A few weeks is usually comfortable; if your date is sooner, ask anyway.
